FAQ
Everything Worth Asking Before You Apply
Including the questions most services avoid: when you pay, why we review first, what we will not promise, and exactly how much of your time this takes.

About the service
SEO is one part of it, but it is not the whole service. The programme looks at the website more broadly: how it performs, how it reads, how easily visitors can act on it, whether the pages match what people search for, and how the business appears in modern search and AI-powered answers. For some websites SEO work is the priority for several weeks. For others the first gains come from structure, content or conversion. We recommend what the website actually needs.
You are buying an ongoing review of your website plus a weekly report that tells you what is worth improving and in what order. You are not buying a fixed number of tasks, a set of deliverables or guaranteed outcomes. The value is in continuity: someone who keeps looking at your website, holds the context from previous weeks, and tells you what deserves attention now.
A one-time audit is a snapshot, and most of them end up as a document nobody works through. It also goes stale quickly — your website, your competitors and how people search all change. Here the review continues, the findings build on each other, and each week you get a short, prioritised set of recommendations rather than hundreds of problems at once.
Because the service only works when there is genuine value to add. Every website is reviewed before a subscription is accepted, and we would rather work with fewer websites where our recommendations make a meaningful difference than accept every order and send generic reports. If we cannot help your website meaningfully, we will say so.
Most of our work suits small and local businesses, professional services, service businesses, consultants, online businesses and startups that already have a live website. E-commerce stores are welcome where the improvements are content, structure, search visibility or conversion rather than platform development.
Yes, but each website is reviewed and subscribed separately, because each one receives its own reports. If you run several related websites, mention them in the form and we will suggest how to sequence them rather than running everything at once.
Applications and payment
No. Submitting the form costs nothing and creates no subscription. There is no checkout, no card details and no automatic charge anywhere on this website.
Your request is queued for manual review. Our team looks at your website and decides whether StartUrWeb is a good fit. If it is, we contact you directly and send a PayPal invoice for the subscription you selected. If it is not, we tell you. You will not be added to any list and you will not receive a payment request unless we have reviewed your website first.
Only after your website has been reviewed and accepted. At that point our team contacts you and sends a PayPal invoice manually for the plan you chose.
Payment is handled through a PayPal invoice issued by the StartUrWeb team. You can pay that invoice through PayPal using whichever method your PayPal account supports. We do not collect card details on this website and we cannot take payment before approval.
After payment is confirmed. The week of payment is the first reporting week, and the programme continues from there.
Only on the monthly subscription, which is $100 per month plus a one-time $50 setup fee — so the first invoice is $150 and later invoices are $100. The quarterly and half-yearly subscriptions have no setup fee.
Yes. Monthly, quarterly and six-month options are available, so you can start month to month and stop when the timing suits you.
Yes. The monthly subscription can be cancelled for the following billing month at any time. Prepaid quarterly and half-yearly subscriptions run to the end of the prepaid term they cover. The full conditions, including when a refund applies, are set out in our refund and cancellation policy linked in the footer.
Reports and delivery
Weekly. Each report is delivered as part of your ongoing programme, on a consistent day so you know when to expect it.
Every report is structured the same way: what we reviewed, what we found, what you can improve, why it matters, priority actions and next steps. Inside that structure the content changes completely from week to week — it is written about your website, not filled into a template.
No. Each website is different, so the recommendations are prioritised according to what appears most useful for that website at that time. A report may concentrate on one substantial issue, or on several smaller opportunities. When a previous recommendation has not been addressed yet, we normally carry it forward instead of piling new items on top.
No, and we would not want to pretend otherwise. Performance, technical health, SEO, content, conversion, competitors, local visibility and AI search visibility are all areas we may examine — but which of them we examine in a given week depends on your website, your goals and what we found previously.
That is the intention. Recommendations are written so that a business owner, an internal marketer or your existing developer can act on them without needing a translator. Where a change requires a specialist, the report says so.
The core subscription provides analysis, recommendations and growth guidance. Making the changes is not included by default, and we do not promise implementation. When implementation is needed, we can discuss it separately so it is clear what is being done, by whom and on what terms.
No. We review your live website, so no login, hosting access or CMS credentials are required — and the request form does not ask for Google Search Console or Analytics access at all. We start from what is publicly visible. If a deeper look at your analytics would sharpen the recommendations, we will ask you for it after you are accepted, and you can decline at any point.
Scope and expectations
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, and any provider who does is not being straight with you. What we do is identify the pages, terms and technical conditions that give you a realistic chance of ranking, and tell you which of them to fix first.
No. We focus on finding and prioritising opportunities, and on making sure the improvements you make are the right ones for your business. Results depend on your market, your offer, your prices and how quickly recommended changes are applied.
No. The programme improves the website you have. If the honest answer is that your site needs rebuilding rather than improving, we will tell you during the review rather than sell you a subscription.
Reading a report takes a few minutes. Acting on the priority actions may take an hour a week, or nothing at all if you have someone who handles your website. Recommendations are deliberately sized so a normal week is manageable.
Our reports are written in English. We review websites in other languages where we can assess the technical and structural side confidently, and we will tell you honestly if we cannot.
We are not your web host, your developer on call, a content-writing team or a paid advertising manager. We do not manage passwords, uptime, backups or daily edits. Within the programme, you get consistent analysis, prioritisation and clear guidance — and honesty about anything that falls outside it.
